Mosaic Literary Conference

The Mosaic Literary Conference presents creative ways to keep books and reading valuable sources of knowledge and creativity. This day of professional-development and community workshops helps parents and educators connect literature to existing curricula to further explore coursework focused on cultures, history, and social studies. Previous conferences have focused on the MeToo Movement, Audre Lorde, Black identity, Piri Thomas, James Baldwin, and other notable and important topics. www.MosaicLitCon.com

The conference also produces Mosaic Literary Magazine and lesson plans for high school educators.

Lesson Plans & Workshops

Mosaic lesson plans and workshops, developed for secondary school educators, demonstrate how cultural and social engagement can serve as a connective tool to empower educators to use books, writing, and reading to engage students further. Each lesson plan includes multiple themes and a reading list.

LFP’s workshops help facilitate a deeper understanding of the lesson plans that help educators (and parents) better incorporate learning related to the literary arts, media, and social engagement. For details, email info@literaryfreedom.org.
